AHPI is delighted to be organising this workshop in Athlone IT, which is a Tobacco and Alcohol free campus. The workshop is open to anyone working in health promotion or community development.

Aim of the workshop
To enhance knowledge on how to facilitate effective partnerships, which reflect health promotion values and principles.

Objectives
· To describe the recent international and Irish research on health promotion partnerships;
· To discuss the factors that promote and inhibit health promotion partnership functioning;
· To demonstrate current partnership projects;
· To develop solutions to some common challenges faced in partnerships.
