Health Promotion Professional Registration System for Ireland

 

On August 15th 2017, members of the Accreditation Board and AHPI Executive Committee met to finalise plans for the launch of the Health Promotion Professional Registration system for Ireland.

Practitioners living in Ireland can now apply through the online application system within the Professional Registration section on this site. This section also includes a list of commonly asked questions about registration and some information on CPD which AHPI will further develop in 2018

‘Promoting Health through Partnership Workshop’

Are you interested in increasing your knowledge and competence in Partnership Working?

AHPI is delighted to be organising this workshop in Athlone IT, which is a Tobacco and Alcohol free campus. The workshop is open to anyone working in health promotion or community development.

Aim of the workshop
To enhance knowledge on how to facilitate effective partnerships, which reflect health promotion values and principles.

Objectives
· To describe the recent international and Irish research on health promotion partnerships;
· To discuss the factors that promote and inhibit health promotion partnership functioning;
· To demonstrate current partnership projects;
· To develop solutions to some common challenges faced in partnerships.
